You can view the Denon AVR-1911’s setup menu on your TV screen,It’s an easy to view menu using big text against a  grey background,which is responsive and easy to follow, plus it covers every single little manual tweak you could hope for, including speaker setup, for those who want to give their sound settings a more personal touch

Away from sound optimisation, you can easily set up how the HDMI outputs operate and easily assign inputs to certain sources, The Denon AVR 1911 includes a range of options to asssist with the built-in video upscaling to 720p, 1080i and 1080p. This receiver unit also features video conversion, S-video and composite inputs to the HDMI output. When watching video through the S-video or composite connections, a status display pops up on screen every time you change input or change the volume.

The new style  remote comes with a preset code memory for controlling other components, and 'Glo-Key' buttons that allow them to glow in the dark.The buttons have large bold lettering so they can be read within the glowing buttons. The main area of menu controls is ideally placed, with the volume controls  placed just above them, however the bottom section of the remote is a bit over the top too many buttons in one small area.Please dont let this minor problem put you off this fantastic system.
